Namibia boys by Carlotta Maitland-Smith
Henri Cartier-Bresson turned from painting to photography when inspired by Three Boys at Lake Tanganyika, a photograph taken by Martin Munkácsi in 1929 or 1930.
"I suddenly understood that photography can fix eternity in a moment." Cartier-Bresson. This series of pictures by Carlotta of children playing in Namibia has the same sense of joy, grace and spontaneity.
